Because people always get pictures of her just as she's about to put food in her mouth? (Actually, my father in law does that. "Here's pictures of Amy eating barbecue.....here's a picture of Amy eating corn.....and one of her eating cake...and...")

I think there is a part of a sandwich/wrap in there, that is very messy, and she doesn't want to get it on her clothes, so this is the way she does it.
Or she just didn't want you to take her picture because she has a zit or didn't color her hair. lol
